Final Front Cover , Contents and Article

This is my final front cover, I have used various conventions to make the magazine look professional. The features I have used are: Tag lines, bar codes, strap line, a feature image addressing the audience and also an advertisement.

This is my contents page. I have used a main image to make it look more appealing. I have also split the contents up into clear sections to help the reader find what they are looking for , I have also put the page numbers .

My main article is 989 words and consists of two images showing the members of the band who feature. It also has a big headline that indicates what the article contains.

Photo Shoot For Magazine

On the 27th December I photographed Danny,Graham, Mark and Joel. I did various shots of them so I could choose the best ones to suit my magazine. Below are some of the images I have taken.

Front Cover Draft

Before I made my magazine , I designed a draft front cover. Im not happy with the magazine and i would make a few changes. Firstly its mainly black and white which is not attractive to an audience, so in my final draft I will add more colour to the magazine. Also I used 6 different fonts which doesn't look professional so in my final draft I will use 3. Although there are some changes , in my final piece I will not change the image because the image is looking out of the magazine and directly addressing the audience.

As you can see from the results above the most popular genre of music from the people i've asked is Indie. This is good because this is the genre of music im targeting .

The results show that the most popular response was "once a week". This is good because my magazine would be on sale every week.

The results here are good because the majority of people pay around £2.00 for their magazines and this the price my magazine will be sold at.
